HCL and Konica flag off outsourcing partnership

Global IT services provider HCL Technologies Ltd has entered into an outsourcing partnership with imaging giant Konica Minolta (KM). The company’s offshore development center in Chennai will provide software services for KM’s Multi Function Peripherals (MFPs), printers and medical equipment businesses. HCL is expecting around US $ 30 million worth of business through this extendable 3-year contract.
