Indian BPO territory still largely untapped
 
  Indian Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) vendors have achieved critical mass and are now competing successfully with major global suppliers of BPO, according to a new study from the Everest Research Institute. The BPO space, however, still has a lot of untapped potential, which Fortune 2000 companies can explore by actively offshoring their business processes on a larger scale. The study analyzed the entire Indian BPO supplier landscape, and identified EXL, Firstsource, Genpact, HCL, IBM Daksh, Infosys, Sutherland, TCS, TransWorks, Wipro and WNS as global players who are establishing themselves through cost efficiency and process and industry expertise.
