Infosys to acquire Philips BPO

Infosys Technologies is geared to acquire Philips’ global finance and accounts Business Process Outsourcing unit for revenues of $200 million over five years. The acquisition will further expand Infosys’ current BPO headcount of around 11,000 employees. Philips has refused comment on the acquisition, stating it was too premature to get into specifics.
